Delivery Man Smashed in Face With Gun, Robbed
This report was derived from information from the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.
A deliveryman for the Golden Dragon restaurant on Cedar Street was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint for $54 worth of food and a $10 bill on Sept. 15.
The 30-year-old driver told police through a translator that he drove to Dassern Drive in front of “The Gatehouse” building, which is owned by Children’s Village, to make his delivery. When he arrived he called the customer to come outside, and two males approached his car and asked how much the food was.
One of the males then struck him in the face with a handgun and asked for the driver’s money. The pair stole the food and a $10, then fled. The driver returned to the restaurant to call police.
