When police responded, Skulstad charged at them and threatened them. He also had in his car a notebook page titled “List — To Kill,” with the names of public figures.

At one point, when Ossining Police Department officers arrived, he yelled, “I’m Jesus Christ! You are going to die today? Are you ready to die?”

Skulstad resisted attempts by officers to subdue him, before he was eventually taken into custody.
