Dobbs Ferry OKs $51.4 million budget For 2022-23 School Year

The budget-to-budget increase was 4.79 percent.

DOBBS FERRY, NY — Voters in the Dobbs Ferry school district went to the voting booth Tuesday to decide whether to approve a $51.4 million budget for the 2022-23 school year.

The spending package, which represented a budget-to-budget increase of 4.79 percent, was approved 1,113 to 229, according to unofficial results.

The projected tax levy increase was 0.48 percent.

There were also three openings for three-year terms on the Board of Education voters filled. The winning candidates were incumbent Jean Lucasey, incumbent Shannon Stringer and Darren Wood.

Also on the ballot were Jacqueline Huffman, Antonio Treglia and Tim Cunningham.
