Don’t Miss: Fiesta Navideña; Guilt and Gelt; The Nutcracker

See what's going on this weekend in and around the Rivertowns this weekend.

If you have some time to spare in between your last minute shopping, here are a handful of interesting events in the area that could be worth a look:

1. Guilt and Gelt: M&M Productions Acting Company returns to the Irvington Public Library Saturday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. with a collection of comedy-drama one-act holiday romps, that takes place at Hanukkah and Christmas. Actors Carol Eagen and Suzanne Ochs play all the characters and Michael Muldoon directs. This production is free to attend, thanks to the support of the Friends of Irvington Public Library, but please register ahead by telephoning 914-591-7840. Parking is available behind and in front of the library.

2. Fiesta Navideña in Greenburgh: Celebrate the joys of the holiday season with a fabulous concert by Mariachi Sol Mixteco on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 2 p.m. in the Greenburgh Public Library. For more details, click here

3. Mrs. Green’s Natural Market Launch: Celebrate the launch of Mrs. Green’s Natural Market in Tarrytown NY. The Preview Party on Thursday, Dec 19 at 6:30 p.m. will kick-off four days of winter wonderland style celebration with Family Activities, Live Music, Tasty Samplings and Auction Funds Benefiting Riverkeeper. 4. A Westchester Nutcracker: Feeling like seeing a local rendition of the holiday favorite “The Nutcracker”? The Westchester Ballet Company will be performing it Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For more information on show times and tickets, click here

5. Toys & Music in Mount Kisco: In support of The Abbott House, MTK Tavern in downtown Mount Kisco is hosting a Toy Drive on Friday, Dec. 20 at 8:30 p.m.  With several New York locations, Abbott House has provided comprehensive and caring services for abused for 50 years, neglected and abandoned children and their families, as well as for developmentally disabled children and adults.
