Fighting, Theft at Ferry Festa

- A 38-year-old Ossining man, who was allegedly assaulted earlier in the evening, was arrested for disorderly conduct violation on Sept. 29. According to police, the man filed a harassment complaint saying that he was punched in the face between 9 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. at Celtic Corner, 73 Main St., after the Dobbs Ferry Festa. Around 11 p.m. later that night a complaint was made to police that there was an unwanted party who refused to leave the Celtic Corner. When police arrived they found the Ossining resident to be allegedly intoxicated, belligerent and refusing to leave at the police’s request. The man was charged, released and is expected to appear in from of Dobbs Ferry Court on Oct. 11.
- A vendor from Stamford, CT reported that a sweater she was selling was stolen form her tent during the Dobbs Ferry Festa on Sept. 29 between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The 51-year-old woman reported that the item was valued at $79.
