Graffiti Sprayed at Aqueduct Trail, Identity Theft

Illegible orange spray paint was reported near Main Street and Cedar Street, while a Dobbs Ferry woman said someone tried to apply for credit under her name.

  • A Dobbs ferry resident reported on Jan. 2 that there was illegible graffiti painted on a wall adjacent to the Old Croton Aqueduct near a bus stop at Main and Cedar streets. The graffiti was drawn with orange spray paint.
  • A 65-year-old Dobbs Ferry woman reported a case of identity theft on Jan. 28 at 8 a.m. According to police, the woman received a letter from AT&T saying that her request for credit had been denied. The woman contacted AT&T to advise them that she never filled out a credit application. AT&T asked her to also report the incident to local police.
