Hastings' 10U Baseball Wins First Season Doubleheader
The team's fast start on Sunday at Port Chester High School led to back-to-back wins.

The Hastings 10 U summer baseball season began on Sunday, June 23, with a double header against Pro Swing Baseball Club at Port Chester High School.
In the first game Hastings wasted no time getting on the board, scoring four runs in the first inning and held on, winning 5-2 to earn the first victory of the season. Hastings received superb pitching by Hunter Mitchell, Chris Rotiroti, Jude Jorger and Kevin Dosin. At the plate, Jorger led Hastings going 3 for 3 with 3 doubles.
In the second game Hastings earned its second victory of the season, winning 9-6.
Chris Capuano, Kevin Dosin and Jake Magaro all pitched outstandingly well, leading Hastings to victory. At the plate, Hastings received timely hitting from Jorger and Dan Leddy, which also contributed to the victory.
The team will then travel to Hillcrest next Sunday (June 30, 2013) for a double header.
