Hastings Man Reports Trash Set on Fire
A carpet left curbside was incinerated overnight, according to a village resident.
A Burnside Drive resident went outside to find a carpet left out with the trash had been burned overnight, according to the Hastings Police Department.
Police reported receiving a call on 6:49 a.m. May 28 from the village man and responded to the scene.
Officers confirmed it appeared the carpet had been burned and took photographs to file at the department.
