Longtime Hastings-on-Hudson resident Annetta Bigley has reached an incredible milestone.
Bigley, currently a resident of Andrus On Hudson, a senior care community in the village, turned 107 on May 30.
According to a statement, Bigley has lived at Andrus since 2006, "where she faithfully attends Catholic mass every day."
Born Annetta Reid Humphries in 1906, Bigley formerly worked as an office supervisor in Manhattan and as an assistant to the superintendent in the village's school district.
She married Harold Bigley on Feb. 23, 1935. He passed away in 1981.
"After having lived in Hastings-on-Hudson at LaBaranaca apartments, Annetta moved to Millwood for a few years, and then returned to Hastings when she entered Andrus on Hudson in 2006," the statement revealed.
