Holiday Trolley Hits Rivertowns Streets Saturday

RIVERTOWNS, NY — The fifth annual Holiday Trolley will take shoppers through the Rivertowns community once again.

The Rivertowns Chamber of Commerce’s member businesses are returning with the acclaimed Shop Local initiative on Saturday, Dec. 2.

Organizers said the Holiday Trolley will operate from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Its goal is making shopping small and local easier than ever during the busy holiday season.

Rivertowns’ Shop Local campaign provides social and digital media recognition of the chamber’s more than 130 members, as well as a map-style guide of gift-giving offers from each.

The hop-on, hop-off trolley is a partner effort to encourage the Rivertowns community to invest in the local economy and get in the holiday spirit.

The Holiday Trolley features student carollers and printed copies of the Shop Local Guide for guests to reference as they shop the downtowns.

It will be making stops in Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry and Irvington every hour until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets are available on the Rivertowns Chamber Shop Local Holiday Trolley Eventbrite page. Tickets will also be available for purchase on the trolley throughout the day.
