Hub Caps Jacked From Car, Attempted Break-In

  • A 67 year-old Dobbs Ferry resident reported that all four of his plastic center hub caps were stolen off of his 2003 Chevy that was parked in his driveway on Hilldale Road between Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. and Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. The caps are valued at $200.
  • A Broadway resident reported a possible attempted entry into his or her apartment between Sept. 20 at 2 p.m and Sept. 23 at 11 a.m. An air conditioning unit that was in the window of the ground floor apartment appeared to have been tampered with. The victim reported that it didn’t seem as if entry was actually gained and that there were no stolen items.
  • A $75 dollar brief case that held a set of keys was taken from a 2002 Jeep, belonging to a 26-year-old Yonkers resident, parked on Esterwood Avenue on Sept. 15 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • A Dobbs Ferry High School student reported that a watch worth $30 was taken from his gym bag in the locker room at school on Sept. 20 between 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.
