In the Rivertowns: Heavy Rain All Day
There is a flood watch in effect through 8 a.m. Saturday.
Another day, another onslaught of rain.
The Rivertowns are again being hit with heavy rain today, a trend expected to continue possibly through Friday afternoon.
As of 11:30 a.m. Thursday, the National Weather Service says there is a chance of thunderstorms prior to 3 p.m. today and continued heavy rainfall all night.
Between the daylight and nighttime hours, up to two inches of rain could accumulate in the Rivertowns.
A flood watch remains in effort through 8 a.m. on Saturday.
Tomorrow, there is a 50 percent chance of showers, "mainly before 3 p.m.," according to NWS.
Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high of 77 degrees.
