Irvington Car Break-Ins, Vandalism

  • A 59-year-old N. Broadway resident reported on Sept. 26 that someone entered her unlocked 2013 Subaru and stole an insurance card and vehicle registration and $5 in cash and changed from the glove box. The car was parked in the Irvington Gardens complex between 6 p.m. on the Sept. 25 and 4 p.m. on Sept. 26. Another car in the same complex was entered between 6 p.m. on the Sept. 25 and 10:20 a.m. on Sept. 26. Some cash and change was stolen. Irvington police are reminding residents to lock their car doors.
  • A 58-year-old resident of S. Buckhout Road reported on Sept. 25 that his 2012 Ford Escape was keyed while parked in front of his apartment between 11:45 a.m. and 2 p.m.
