How did you come up with the name? We named it based on the beautiful Hudson River views and the Prime Steak.

Why start a business in this town? We live here and own another restaurant in Ardsley called Divino Cucina Italiana and that is so popular — the same building owner had this space and we felt the town needed a “really amazing” steakhouse — we source our steaks from Hunts Point market where the best steaks are sourced from. We are a husband-and-wife team, Gino as owner and chef and Floria as host and back-of-house. This is our town, our passion and our goal to please our community.

What’s the most difficult challenge you’ve faced as a business owner? Making sure the space is perfect, the food is beyond perfection — and letting the community know about the restaurant so they can try it.

What’s been your proudest achievement since opening? We opened at the start of the pandemic and even still we have had stellar comments and reviews. We just want more people to come and enjoy the best steak in the world as well as a variety of other amazing original foods.

How does your business give back to the community? We have been a collection center for donations; we have provided gift cards to various fundraisers. We are so new haven’t been open a year, and the pandemic has not allowed us to do anything big, but we do plan on doing fundraisers at our location for various organizations that are dear to our hearts.

Anything else you'd like to say about your business? Yes, we take great pride in our fine steaks, our aging process of the steaks that we do on-site, the hand-picked Wagyu directly sourced from Japan, our other selections including fish, pasta and appetizers. With the weather also becoming spring, we are happy to have a venue with sweeping views of the Hudson. Additionally, we have a private wine cellar with 2,500 wines and can also be a private dining space.
