"The Lark is more than a place to work out," Gerspach said. "It’s a space for women to thrive, connect, and support each other in a positive and uplifting environment. I wanted to create a place where women could come together, take care of their minds and bodies, and find a true sense of community."

Fitness programming at The Lark is led by Fitness Director Jaimie Lawson, a well-known local instructor, trainer, and coach. The class offerings include barre, mat Pilates, dance cardio, strength and conditioning.

In addition to fitness, Gerspach says The Lark hosts "thoughtfully crafted community events that provide opportunities for personal growth, social connection, and fun."

She says "the new oasis" is named after the happy songbird, which in mythology, represents a new day and symbolizes freedom, joy, melody and independence.

"The Lark is a place where women can take flight — individually or as part of a supportive flock," Gerspach added.
