Marijuana Arrest, Traffic Safety Stop

  • Hastings-on-Hudson Police Department held a traffic safety check on Oct. 2 on Broadway at the Dobbs Ferry border between 10:44 a.m. and 11:44 a.m. Three tickets were given for expired inspections.
  • A 47-year-old Warburton Avenue resident reported that her grey 2006 BMW was damaged between Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. and Oct. 3 at 8 a.m. in front of her home. The passenger sideview mirror was broken off. Police said that it is unknown where the damage was done purposely or by accident.
  • A 24-year-old Hasting-on-Hudson resident was allegedly caught smoking pot in Zinsser Park and found to be in possession of a small plastic bag with a leaf-like substance, believed to be marijuana, and a glass pipe. He was charged and ticketed for unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
