We all know students who are engaging and caring about others. Here's one local resident who is having an impact in Rivertown.
RIVERTOWNS, NY — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

He is one of my students at Ardsley High School.
Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?
Besides being a standout student, Nico is one of the most engaging and caring students I have encountered in all of my years in education. He cares about his family and all of his friends as much as he cares about getting high marks on tests or getting into a good college.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?
He has never once missed one of his younger sister’s performances in any play or theater production she has been in since she was little.
