Police: Arrests at Halsey Pond Park, Gate Vandalism

- Irvington Police Department's member of the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force arrested a 25-year-old New Rochelle resident and charged him with unlawfully dealing with a minor, a first-degree misdemeanor, on Aug. 23 for allegedly supplying the 20-year-old female with alcohol at Halsey Pond Park in Irvington. The female, a White Plains resident, was issued a summons for possession of alcohol by a person under 21. Both will appear back in village court on Sept. 21
- A Hastings-on-Hudson resident was issued a summons by the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force for trespassing at Halsey Pond Park in Irvington around 3:50 p.m. on Aug. 23. The park is only open to Irvington residents. The 32-year-old was released on his own recognizance and is expected to appear in court on Sept. 17.
- A resident of North Broadway in Irvington report on Aug. 24 around 11 a.m. that the locking bar on his front gate, valued at $100, was stolen for a third time.
