POLICE: Middle School Sign Changed to Spell ‘Penis’

  • An Irvington resident reported to police around 7:46 a.m. on Sept. 16 that letters on a sign at Irvington Middle School were changed to spell “penis.” The sign was changed shortly thereafter.
  • A parent of a 14-year-old Irvington High School student reported that an iPhone was stolen from her son’s school bag on Sept. 13 between 10:08 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. The phone was in an unlocked locker during gym class.
  • An iPad2 was stolen from a book bag in an unlocked gym locker on Sept. 14 at 1:50 p.m. between 12:23 p.m. and 1:05 p.m. The victim, a 16-year-old Irvington High School student, said the iPad was valued at $500.
