This report was derived from information from the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

A 39-year-old Dobbs Ferry man is wanted for allegedly stealing his father’s car and threatening to assault him with a screw gun. On Oct. 8 around 9 a.m. the 70-year-od father called police to report that his son, who he recently evicted, was removing the doors off the shed in the rear of the home.

The father asked the son to stop and the son allegedly became enraged grabbing a portable screw gun threatening “I will screw your eyes out.”

In an attempt to make sure the son couldn’t get away before police arrived, the father jumped into the son’s car and drove it around to the front of the house. However, the son allegedly took his father’s car keys from inside the house and jumped into the car. According to police, the son spoke with police and said he would turn himself in, however he has yet to do so.
