- In the first of three Spring tennis matches, Lisa Tessitore of Dobbs Ferry and Stevens Institute of Technology, in an 8-1 loss at New York University, dropped her singles match to a Violet, 6-1,6-2, and then she and her doubles partner captured their match, 9-6(7-5). On April 7, hosting the University of Rochester Yellow Jackets, the Ducks lost by the same score as with the previous foes, 8-1. Tessitore lost her singles match, 6-3,6-2, and then her doubles duo also dropped theirs, 8-5. On April 10 at New Paltz, she dropped her singles match, 6-4,7-5, and in the final action of the season, she and her doubles partner won their match 8-6.
- In an 11-3 win over hosts The University of Rochester on April 10, Matt Adipietro of Hastings-on-Hudson and Cortland State College, took over the leftI field position in the bottom of the ninth inning.
- In rowing competition at Cornell University on Lake Cayuga on April 13, Caroline Bishop of Hastings-on-Hudson and Smith College's second Varsity 8 team, topped both William Smith College and Marietta College, with their clocking of 7:35.9.
- With Trine College as the guests on April 10, Wooster College outscored their opponents in men's lacrosse, 17-7, with Jake Bernard of Irvington having two scoring assists, one shot, one ground ball, and one turnover in the game. On April 13, hosting Ohio Wesleyan University, he had one shot and one turnover in the 9-5 loss, with the record now at 7-4/2-2.
- Andy Catania of Dobbs Ferry and St. Olaf's College, in a 6-3 win over St. Johns College on April 13 won his doubles match, 6-3,7-6(11-9), and then he and his doubles partner also took their match,8-6, and the record is now 4-8/3-0 on the season.
- In a two game sweep at Framingham State on April 9, Madison Dinaso of Ardsley and Babson College, entered game one as a pinch hitter for the catcher, as the Beavers topped their hosts, 5-1. In game two, she took over first base in the fifth inning and flied out to left field twice in the 8-1 victory. In the first of two games at Clark University, Babson College blanked the Cougars,11-0, with Dinaso entering the game in the fifth inning, singled, and later tallied in the frame.
- In the nightcap, an 8-0 shutout, she again took over first base in inning five, and had one hit in this contest. In two 2-0 blankings at home over The Coast Guard Academy, she entered the opener by taking over first base in the top of the fifth inning, and had one hit and one sacrifice bunt in her playing time, while the erstwhile Panther played the full second contest at first base, and fanned once in this one, as well as being part of a double play. On April 14, in another twin bill at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dinaso played at first base in both contests, with the Beavers winning the first game,2-1, and dropped the second, 4-2. Following a triple by a teammate in the fourth frame of the opener, she singled her home with the game's first tally. In the nightcap, she struck out once. The record is now 20-9/10-3.
- In a 19-6 losss at Eastern University on April 10, Justin Figueroa of Ardsley and Manhattanville College's men's lacrosse team, had one shot and one ground ball in the game.At Misericordia College on April 13, in yet another setback, 11-2, he had two shot and four turnovers, as the Valiant's record fell to 0-12 on the season.
- In the Upstate Track & Field Classic, held at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on April 13, Sara King of Dobbs Ferry and Vassar College, ran in the women's preliminary 3,000 race, but failed to qualify for the final.
- At home with St. John Fisher College on April 9, the Nazareth College men's tennis team defeated their guests, as Jeremy Mancus of Irvington topped his singles opponent, 6-0,6-0, and then his doubles duo did likewise, 8-5. In the white washing at home with Utica College as the opposition, he blanked his singles foe,6-0, 6-0, followed by his doubles duo victory, 8-0. The record is 4-8/3-0.
- In an 11-5 loss at home with Farmingdale State College on April 13, starting lacrosse midfielder Liam McHugh of Ardsley and The College of Mt. St. Vincent, recorded three ground balls and had one turnover in the game, with the record now 5-8/1-3.
- At the M.A.A.C. Outdoor Track and Field Championship, held at Rider College on April 13, Sarah Moore of Irvington and Manhattan College, placed 8th in the women's Long Jump, at 16'21/4", and she was fifth in the Pole Vault, at 10'2-3/4". The Jaspers were seventh in the meet, with 50 points.
- In a sweep of Emerson College on Apr.10th, the Johnson and Wales Hawks baseball nine topped their guests 5-0 and 10-0. In game one, Alex Pezzuto of Hastings-on-Hudson served as both designated player and shortstop. he batted one for four, had an r.b.i. in the third frame, and had four assists in the contest. In game two, a 10-0 rout of the Lions, they rolled up nine runs in the first inning, during which time Pezzuto had one single and scored a run. Hosting Rivier College in a double bill on April 13, the birds slaughtered their guests twice - by a count of 12-2 in the opener, with the shortstop having two hits in three at bats, and plating two teammates, plus a putout and an assist before being lifted for a pinch hitter. The second game score was 13-2, with the shortstop having an eventful first inning, as he had a single,scored a run, and was hit by a pitch on his second at bat. Pezzuto also had a putout and an assist in the win.
- At Franklin Pierce University on April 10, the University of Southern New Hampshire topped their hosts, 4-1, as Andrew Pezzuto of Hastings-on-Hudson had one single in the game and fanned twice, while brother Greg had one strikeout in the game. Hosting St. Anselm College on April 11, the Penmen outscored their guests, 9-2, as Andrew singled and then scored on a teammates' double in the first frame, walked and fanned once each, and was caught on an attempted steal, while Greg had one stolen base in the win. With Merrimack College as guests for a twin bill on April 13, the Penmen took the opener7-2, with Andrew's big bat knocking in two of his team's runs, and scoring two more himself. He was intentionally walked as well in the victory. In a single contest with the Warriors on Apr. 14th, in which the team topped St. Anselm, 4-2, Andrew fanned once and had a sacrifice bunt. The record is now 25-10/11-7.
- On April 13, American International College's Yellow Jackets' baseball team, played a double header at Pace University, and lost both games, 6-3 and 1-0. Shortstop Eddie Ritch of Dobbs Ferry and the visitors, fanned once,had three putouts, and one assist in the opener, and then in game two, fanned twice, had one putout and four assists, with the opposing hurler striking out eleven batters in the game. In a single contest on April 14, the hosts defeated the Jackets, 16-4, scoring ten runs in their half of the sixth inning. Ritch had a single in four at bats, fanned once, and had three putouts, one assist, and made two errors at his position. The record is now 13-14/5-10.
- At the Merchant Marine Academy on April 14, the Catholic University Cardinals blanked their hosts, 11-0, with pitcher Miles Semitis of Irvington serving as one of four Catholic U. pitchers in the game. He entered the contest in the eighth inning, and had no statistics in his one third of an inning on the mound. The team's record is 21-11/8-4.
- On April 13, in the second half of a twin bill at home with Worcester Polytechnic Institute,Brandeis University's Mike Swerdloff southpaw hurler pitched a great game, giving up two runs on five hits, walking one, and recording six strikeouts, but unfortunately, the Engineer's hurler curbed the Judges' bats, as he allowed but one run on four hits, walked two batters, and fanned one in the visitors' 2-1 win.
