STAR Registration Deadline, New Year’s Eve in Rivertowns

1. "The Ruins" to Ring in New Year in Dobbs Ferry: Cedar Street Grill will host New Years Eve from 5:00 p.m. to 1 a.m. with an a la carte menu, seasonal menu specials, drink specials, party favors and live music by "The Ruins" from 10:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Champagne toast at midnight. 2. STAR Registration Deadline: The New York State Tax Department mailed instructions in early October to all homeowners who currently receive the Basic STAR exemption. The letters include a personal STAR code that homeowners will need to register through Dec. 31, 2013. If you are currently receiving senior citizen exemptions you do not need to register, however, you must continue to apply the same way annually. For more information, click here.
