Stepdad Accused of Buying Alcohol for 14-Year-Olds
Dobbs Ferry Police are investigating a case of child endangerment after a Dobbs Ferry couple was accused of letting two 14-year-olds drink in their apartment on Feb. 20.

A Long Island parent told Dobbs Ferry Police that she had to take her 14-year-old daughter to the hospital for alcohol poisoning after the teen was allowed to drink alcohol while staying the weekend with her 14-year-old friend at the friend’s mother and stepfather’s home in Dobbs Ferry.
According to police, the stepfather agreed to purchase the two teens Four Loko in the Bronx after they asked after, when he picked the girls up from Long Island. The friend's mother is accused of allowing the girls to drink the in alcohol in her Dobbs Ferry apartment.

The friend’s father, a Long Island resident who is divorced from the accused mother, also made a complaint to police. The incident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
