Police: Man Punches Window, Bloodies Hand

• An Ashford Avenue resident reported seeing a man punch the storefront window of Gallo Deli & Grocery, 187 Ashford Ave., after getting to a fight with someone on his cellphone on Sept. 12. The witness heard the man yelling, then a loud crash, followed by the suspect saying that he was bleeding to the person on the other end of the phone. The suspect then fled.  The damage is estimated at $300 and is considered felony criminal mischief.

• An Ogden Avenue resident reported that two children’s bicycles were stolen from her backyard between Sept. 13 at 4 p.m. and Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. The black BMX bike was valued at $400 and the army green colored BMX is valued at $350.
