Tire Mischief in Irvington
Police recently received two reports on the same day of cars with tires that had been tampered with.

The Irvington Police Department reported recently receiving reports of tire mischief in the village.
On July 17 at 1:15 p.m, a North Broadway resident reported someone had punctured two tires on the passenger side of her vehicle, which was parked at her apartment complex.
The woman told police the tires were affected sometime between 7 p.m. on July 15 and 8 a.m. on July 16.
She said she would be spending approximately $80 per tire to replaced the damaged ones.
Later that day, at 6:25 p.m., a West Nyack resident told police three of her vehicle's tires had been damaged while she was parked in a South Astor Street lot.
The woman said it appeared the valve caps had been removed from both passenger side tires, as well as one driver's side tire.
She said the damage had occurred sometime after 8 a.m. that day.
Police said it did not appear the tires were damaged.
