Windows Smashed on BMW; Stolen License Plates

- Police are investigating a felony criminal mischief case that resulted in the vandalization of a Dobbs Ferry resident’s car. Witness called police on Sept. 11 around 7:45 p.m. to report that they heard a car alarm go off followed by loud banging noises outside their apartment complex on Broadway in Dobbs Ferry. A 50-year-old apartment resident reported that the taillights on her white BMW were smashed and that there were numerous dents to her hood and passenger side door. The cost in damages was not available.
- A 65-year-old Dobbs Ferry Resident said that both of his license plates were stolen off of his Toyota Corolla in the Oak Street parking lot, behind Sam’s Restaurant on Main Street, between Sept. 11 at 8:30 p.m. and Sept. 12 at 9:45 a.m.
- An employee at Half Moon, 1 High St. in Dobbs Ferry reported a set of keys missing on Sept. 11 and insists that they were stolen. The 47-year-old Tuxedo Park, NY resident said that he left the keys in the kitchen area around 8 p.m. and that they were missing when he returned at 11 p.m. The keys valued at $100.
