Where/When: Irvington Public Library on Thursday, June 13 from 3 to 8 p.m.; Friday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Why go: The Friends of the Irvington Public Library will be offering a variety of children, teen and adult books; non-fiction and cookbooks and large print books as part of its summer sale. There will also be a number of CDs, DVDs, video cassettes and audio books for sale.

Almost Raucous Cocktail Party
Where/When: 255 Broadway in Hastings on Saturday, June 15 from 5 to 8 p.m.Why go: The Hastings Public Library is celebrating its centennial this weekend with an "Almost Raucous" cocktail party to raise funds for the Friends of the Hastings Public Library. Read more here.

Musical Tot Shabbat
Where/When: Chabad of the Rivertowns on Friday, June 14 at 5:30 p.m.Why go: Bobby Doowah will lead this week’s Tot Shabbat, recommended for kids under age seven. The evening will be full of Shabbat songs, traditions and food.

Friends of the DFPL Annual Meeting
Where/When: Dobbs Ferry Public Library on Friday, June 14 from 7 to 9 p.m.Why go: The annual Friends meeting will include a Q&A with independent film actor and DFHS graduate Daniel Dambroff and free refreshments.
