Holidays At The Market Continues At The Rochester Public Market On Sunday With COVID-19 Precautions In Place

Holidays at the Market is a great opportunity to shop in an open-air setting, while also supporting local, small business owners.

The seasonal shopping favorite, Holidays at the Market, returns to the City of Rochester Public Market this Sunday, Dec. 6, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The popular event series has been modified to comply with current COVID-19 guidelines, as well as to help ensure the safety of both shoppers and vendors.

In keeping with tradition, the event will feature dozens of local vendors with fresh cut trees and wreaths, a variety of hand-crafted items, specialty foods and drinks, clothing, jewelry, and much, much more! However, due to the pandemic, entertainment elements have been eliminated from this year’s Holidays at the Market series.

Holidays at the Market is a great opportunity to shop in an open-air setting, while also supporting local, small business owners, many of whom have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Two more Holidays at the Market experiences will take place this season, on Sunday, Dec. 13, from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., as well as an evening Market experience scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17, from 6 – 9 p.m.

Vendor spaces for Holidays at the Market are still available. Per stall rates are $55.00 per Sunday and $ 25.00 for the Thursday evening event. Applications are available online at https://www.cityofrochester.go... or in person at the Market Office, the two-story brick building located in the center of the Public Market at 280 North Union St.

The Public Market requires that face masks or coverings be worn by all shoppers and vendors. Patrons are also encouraged to frequently use the hand sanitizing stations on site and to avoid congregating in large groups.
