The International Plaza And Ibero American Development Corporation To Host Car Show On August 1 In City Of Rochester

(Friday, July 30, 2021) — The International Plaza, 828 N. Clinton Ave., kicks off the month of August with “The ROC International Car Show” at Sunday’s Market Day, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., August 1. The car show, a first-of-its-kind at the Plaza, will include a competition with twelve categories scored by three secret guest judges. The event will be emceed by Imani Sanders, with DJ Fiyah Kidd and DJ JR providing live entertainment with performances by Grupo La Nueva Secuencia and
up-and-coming solo artist, Activo Party. The Car Show lineup includes over sixty cars, trucks, jeeps and motorcycles.

Market Days at the International Plaza take place 5 to 8 p.m. on most Thursdays and 1 to 5 p.m., Sundays through November. Entertainment programming is scheduled in partnership with the Ibero American Action League.

Entertainment for the upcoming weeks include music by Canchany and Grupo Bembé, La
Nueva Secuencia, performers from Teaching Artist Roc and more. A Fitness Event in partnership with Fitbalanz will take place Thursday, August 12 and a Mascots Day Back-to-School Bash is scheduled for Sunday, August 22.
