Rochester To Hold 'La Marketa' Community Business Resource Meeting

The City of Rochester is seeking applications from those interested in becoming tenants/licensees at La Marketa at the International Plaza.

(Tuesday, March 10, 2020) – The City of Rochester is seeking applications from individuals and businesses who are interested in becoming tenants/licensees at La Marketa at the International Plaza, an exciting new City venue that is currently under construction on North Clinton Avenue. At present, there are five kiosks (repurposed shipping containers) that will be available for operation by potential vendors when La Marketa officially opens later this year.

La Marketa at the International Plaza is a City initiative that is developing and constructing a new Latin-themed event space and marketplace. The project will include a variety of vendors and vending options ranging from pop-up tents and carts to more permanent retail locations housed in converted shipping containers. The space will also have a performance pavilion, dedicated restrooms and a service/storage building. The project, which costs over $2 million, is expected to open in the fall of 2020.
