2 Workers Hurt In Nassau Recycling Plant Mishap: Police
One person was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition, police say.

OCEANSIDE, NY — Multiple people were injured at Earth-Tec Recycling in Oceanside on Monday morning, police said.
Two men were hurt when a conveyor belt fell on top of them at the Wood Street facility, police said.
The victims were extracted from under the conveyor belt with assistance of the Nassau County Police Emergency Service Unit and the Oceanside Fire Department.

One victim, a 68-year-old, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is listed in critical but stable condition, police said.
The other victim, a 62-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.
