Baldwin Plumbing Store Burglarized; $8K Stolen: Police

The burglar(s) also stole multiple credit cards and two desktop computer towers, police say.

BALDWIN, NY — Thousands of dollars and other pricy equipment were stolen from a Baldwin plumbing store, Nassau police said.

A person or people entered J&E Plumbing & Heating, at the intersection of Seaman Avenue and St. Lukes Place, by removing sheetrock from an adjacent room under construction around 11 a.m. Saturday, police said.

A lockbox containing $8K, multiple credit cards, and two desktop computer towers were stolen, police said. The burglary was reported early Monday. Police are looking for the burglar(s).

Detectives request anyone with information regarding the theft to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
