Baldwin Students Raise $3,000 To Support Guatemalan School
"Together, we're not just learning about the world, we're making it better," Baldwin Middle School Principal Dr. Erica Banks-Taylor said.

BALDWIN, NY — It was a chance for Baldwin Middle School students and the community to come together for a good cause.
Three thousand dollars was raised to support construction of a school in Guatemala via eco-bricks or classrooms built with recycled plastic bottles.
The classrooms are built through Hug It Forward, a multicultural organization operating at the grassroots level in the region of Latin America, with an emphasis in Guatemala.
