A fire ripped through E&W Greystone Deli Sunday night, destroying the interior of the 70-year-old Long Beach Road eatery.
Fire department officials said flames spread through the ceiling of the deli and firefighters were on the roof trying to extinguish the blaze, which they say appears to be electrical in nature.
Owner Bill Waxon said he stopped by the deli near 7:30 p.m., and "there was smoke billowing from the electrical panel."
