ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — Molloy University will host the 6th Annual Unity Through Diversity: Celebrating All Abilities in the Arts on Friday.

Created by The Rebecca Center for Music Therapy, it's a monumental evening featuring artists of all abilities and backgrounds from the neurodivergent community expressing themselves via music, dance, poetry self-advocacy storytelling and visual artistry.

“We always look forward to this event and providing a platform for folks to share their stories and love of the arts!” said Diana N. Abourafeh, a board certified music therapist for The Rebecca Center for Music Therapy.

With nearly 300 people in attendance each year, the proceeds will benefit the Rebecca Center Client Scholarship Fund, a fund which provides scholarships to clients in need to support access to music therapy services at The Center.

  • "I Got A Feelin’" as the concert opener featuring all performers of the evening from the Molloy University MOST Program, Rebecca Center for Music Therapy participants and Backyard Players & Friends.
  • A singing performance to "Come On Get Happy" performed by the Backyard Players & Friends, an inclusive, arts-based community program, open to the public for participants age 14 and older.

Friday's event the University's Madison Theater, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. It's open to the public with tickets $25 at the door.
