Crime Watch: 2 Arrested for Lehigh Court Burglary

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest

  • Michael C. White, 46, of Freeport, was arrested on Oct. 25 at 5:10 p.m. and charged with second-degree robbery for a past incident on Lehigh Court following an investigation by police personnel.

  • A 28 year-old Oceanside man was arrested on Oct. 29 at 3:50 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and VTL violations following an investigation by police personnel on Meehan Lane.

  • Alex F. Mills, 21, of Vincent Street, was arrested on Oct. 29 at 9:22 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and unlawful possession of marijuana following an investigation by police personnel on South Kensington Avenue.

  • Eric Vasquez, 26, of East Rockaway, was arrested on Oct. 29 at 9:22 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree, unlawful possession of marijuana and a VTL violation following an investigation by police personnel on South Kensington Avenue.

  • Philip Gershgorin, 37, of Strathmore Lane, was arrested on Oct. 30 at 8:02 p.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated following an auto accident investigation at North Long Beach Road and DeMott Avenue.

  • Joseph Z. Mayer, 22, of Oceanside, was arrested on Nov. 2 at 4:25 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and a VTL violation following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Municipal Parking Field #8.

  • Eric D. Burdette, 29, of Oceanside, was arrested on Nov. 3 at 3:16 a.m. and charged with third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief following an investigation by police personnel in the vicinity of Lincoln Avenue and Driscoll Avenue.

  • Dennis L. Petty, 46, of Westbury, was arrested on Nov. 3 at 11:15 p.m. and charged with second-degree robbery for a past incident on Lehigh Court following an investigation by police personnel.

  • Burglary

    • A Marlborough Court resident reported to police on Oct. 31 that an unknown person(s) entered her residence and stole two laptop computers sometime between 2:45 and 9:05 p.m..    

    Criminal Contempt

    • A complainant from Morris Avenue reported to police on Oct. 28 that on Oct. 23 at noon, a former boyfriend contacted her on Facebook and violated a valid order of protection.

    Aggravated Harassment

    • A complainant from Hawke Lane reported to police on Oct. 30 at 6:20 p.m. that an unknown person(s) sent him text messages causing annoyance and alarm.
