Arrests

  • On Friday, Dec. 7 at 12:58 a.m., Thomas Fuller, 56, of Hempstead was arrested for Petit Larceny, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree, and Trespass following a police investigation on Voorhis Avenue in Rockville Centre.

Robbery

  • On Friday, Dec. 7 at 11:57 a.m., a complainant from Community National Bank 333 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre reported that an unknown male placed a false bomb and stole US currency without permission; the unknown male fled on foot westbound on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.

  • On Friday, Dec. 7 at 12:40 p.m., a complainant from Locust Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between 10:40 a.m. and 12:20 p.m. unknown person(s) entered the residence through a ground floor bathroom window and stole jewelry valued at $900.

Larceny

  • On Saturday, Dec. 8 at 4:35 p.m., a complainant from Maude Street, S. Hempstead reported that on Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:35 p.m. an unknown person stole his wallet from the counter of Subway 218 N. Long Beach Road in Rockville Centre.
  • On Friday, Dec. 7 at 6:31 p.m., a complainant from Floral Avenue, Bethpage reported that sometime between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. unknown person(s) stole a NYS driver license, credit card, keys and Garmin GPS valued at $350 from his unlocked motor vehicle parked at 80 N. Park Avenue in Rockville Centre.
  • On Friday, Dec. 7 at 10 p.m., a complainant from 227 Street in Laurelton reported that sometime between 1 and 3 p.m. unknown person(s) stole an Apple I-phone valued at $200 from Mercy Medical Center, located at 1000 N. Village Avenue in Rockville Centre.
  • On Friday, Dec. 7 at 7:50 p.m., a complainant from Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 8 a.m. person(s) stole an EZ Pass and approximately $2 in coin from her 2010 GMC motor vehicle.
  • On Thursday, Dec. 6 at 4:16 p.m., a complainant from N. Long Beach Road, Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) stole his Apple I-phone valued at $500 from his unsecured locker at South Side High School.

  • On Friday, Dec. 2 at 4:29 p.m., a complainant from Intervale, Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) did use a NEFCU debit card number to make unauthorized transactions totaling $1,264.83 against his account.
  • On Thursday, Dec. 6 at 10 p.m., a complainant from Nierrifield Avenue in Oceanside reported that unknown person(s) forged and cashed a business check for $4,500 without authorization.
  • On Saturday, Dec. 8 at 1:45 p.m., a complainant from Oxford Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) opened a G.M. Capitol One account using his personal information without authorization and made $11,000 in transactions against the account.

Property Damage

  • On Friday, Dec. 7 at 10:20 a.m., a complainant from Texas reported that a 2004 motor vehicle was damaged while at U-Haul 240 Maple Avenue in Rockville Centre.

Property Lost

  • On Sunday, Dec. 9 at 10:46 a.m., a complainant from Newton, MA reported that sometime since Wednesday, Nov. 28 two NYS license plates were missing from the vicinity of Canterbury Road in Rockville Centre.
