Crime Watch Part Two: $1,000 in Gum and Breath Mints Stolen from CVS

Larceny:
On July 5, complainant manager from CVS, located at 155 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, reported that unknown person(s) stole $926.30 in gum packs and $79.73 in breath mints sometime between 10:48 a.m. and 10:54 a.m.
On July 6, a complainant from Syosset reported that unknown person(s) stole a wallet containing her driver license and credit cards from her purse sometime between July 5 at 7 p.m. and July 6 at 2:30 a.m. while at Mercy Medical Center Emergency Room, located at 1000 N. Village Ave. in Rockville Centre.

On July 7, a complainant from Cambria Heights reported that sometime between May 31 and July 7, unknown person(s) stole credit cards from her pocketbook while working at Smiel Medical Laboratory, located at 371 Merrick Road in Rockville Centre.
On July 7, a complainant from Hempstead Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) stole a 2010 Nishiki woman’s bicycle valued at $500 from the unsecured open garage.

On July 8 at 7:40 a.m., a Greystone Road resident reported the theft of four wheels from her 2010 Nissan. Incident occurred while the vehicle was parked in her driveway overnight.
On July 8 at 10 a.m. a Morris Avenue resident reported an unknown person entered her vehicle and removed $5. Incident occurred while vehicle was parked in her driveway overnight.
On July 8 at 7:40 p.m., a Strathmore Lane resident reported an unknown person entered his 2011 Buick and removed a GPS device while the vehicle was parked overnight.
On July 9 at 10:30 a.m., a building owner on N. Forest Avenue reported the theft of two guard rails that he had stored behind his building.
On July 11 at 2:50 a.m., a Merrick Road resident reported the larceny of his 2006 Jaguar from a parking lot adjacent to his apartment building.
Graffiti:
On July 5, a complainant from Strathmore Lane in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) had placed graffiti with magic marker on property in the vicinity of Strathmore Lane and California Street in Rockville Centre.
On July 6, graffiti was discovered on a light pole in the vicinity of S. Village Avenue and Lincoln Avenue in Rockville Centre.
On July 9 at 1:45 p.m., a Maple Avenue building manager reported an unknown person spray painted letters on the side of the building.
ID Theft:
On July 4, a complainant from Windsor Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) made unauthorized purchases against her MasterCard debit card totaling $1,237.49 between July 1 and July 3.
On July 8 at 11:45 a.m., a Westminster Road resident reported an unknown person opened up two credit card accounts in his name.
On July 8 at 1:30 p.m., a San Diego resident reported his elderly mother, who resides on Maine Avenue, received two checks, possibly as part of a scheme.
Property Damage:
On July 5, a complainant from Lakeview Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) damaged the trunk to his 2004 Subaru at approximately 1:30 a.m. while it was parked in MPF No. 1.
