Crime Watch Part Two: $500K Stolen From Gas Station Owner by Employees

Larceny:

On July 9 at 11:10 a.m., the owner of Gulf Gas Station located at 2 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre reported that between April 2, 2007 and June 8, 2012, three employees stole profits from his gas station and car wash totaling approximately $500,000.

On July 10 at 6:45 p.m., a Hendrickson Avenue, Rockville Centre resident reported that sometime between 6:35 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., unknown person(s) stole her Schwinn bicycle valued at $225 from the vicinity of N. Park Avenue and Front Street in Rockville Centre.

On July 11 at 3:30 p.m., a Crocker Street, Rockville Centre resident reported that sometime between 2-3:15 p.m., unknown person(s) stole her green 2011 LL Bean bicycle valued at $300 from the vicinity of N. Park Avenue and Front Street in Rockville Centre.

On July 11 at 11:35 a.m., an E. Park Avenue, Long Beach resident reported that on July 10 sometime between 4:40-10 p.m., unknown person(s) stole a mirror part valued at $150 from her 2005 Mini Cooper motor vehicle while parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 3.

On July 12 at 3 p.m., a salesperson from T-Mobile, located at 323 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, reported two male subjects entered the store and stole cell phones valued at approximately $2,160.00 without permission; the subjects fled on foot in an unknown direction.

On July 15 at 11:23 a.m., a Davison Place, Rockville Centre resident reported that unknown person(s) stole two Schwinn bicycles valued at $350 from the rear yard of his residence. 

On July 15 at 1:40 p.m., the manager from Croxley’s Ale House, located at 7-9 S. Park Ave. in Rockville Centre reported that at approximately 6:37 a.m. on July 14, unknown person(s) damaged a chain to a rear gate and stole 15 empty beer kegs valued at $450

Criminal Mischief:

On July 11, a 120th St., S. Ozone Park resident reported that sometime between July 10 at 10 p.m. and July 11 at 9 a.m., unknown person(s) scratched her 2009 Mazda while parked at Best Western, located at 173 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre.
