Crime Watch Part Two: Cars Damaged in Parking Fields

Criminal Mischief:

On Nov. 3, a complainant from Broadway in Rockville Centre reported that sometime on Nov. 1 between 6:45 a.m. and 2:35 p.m., the tire to his 2005 Jeep parked at 215 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, was damaged by unknown person(s) and a windshield wiper was found to have been taken without permission.

Property Damage:

On Nov. 1, a complainant from Rosalind Avenue in Elmont reported that sometime between 8:15 a.m. and 5 p.m., the side rear bumper of his 2007 Toyota was damaged by unknown means while parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 2.

On Nov. 3 at 11:58 p.m., a complainant from St. James Place in Rockville Centre reported that shrubbery on her property was damaged by a motor vehicle.

On Nov. 4 at 8:48 a.m., a complainant from Morris Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that sometime between Nov. 3 at 11:30 p.m. and Nov. 4 at 8:35 a.m., the rear driver side window to his 2006 Chevrolet that was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 3 was damaged by unknown means.

On Nov. 5 at 4:45 p.m., a complainant from McIntosh Court in Malverne reported that the driver side door to his 2007 Nissan was damaged by unknown means on Nov. 4 sometime between 9 p.m. and midnight while it was parked on S. Centre Avenue in Rockville Centre.

On Nov. 5 at 9:15 a.m., a complainant from Maple Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that the rear driver side window to her 2006 Nissan was damaged by unknown means sometime between Nov. 3  at 10:30 a.m. and Nov. 5 at 9 a.m., while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field No. 5 in Rockville Centre.

Unusual Incident:

On Nov. 1, a complainant from Fonda Road in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) did make $300 worth of unauthorized purchases against her Bloomingdale’s American Express account on Oct. 28.

On Nov. 4 at 11:30 a.m., a complainant from Maple Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) entered her unlocked 2011 Honda motor vehicle without permission while it was parked in an underground garage.

Found Property:

On Nov. 4 at 10:45 a.m., a complainant from Muirfield Road in Rockville Centre reported that she found a Raleigh mountain bicycle in her side yard.
