Crime Watch Part Two: Youths Damage Walkway to 9/11 Memorial
Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

Larceny:
On July 18 at 12:27 p.m., the manager at CVS, located at 155 Sunrise Highway, reported he confronted a male subject who was attempting to steal hair/skin products and other items. The subject fled the scene with proceeds valued at approximately $25.
On July 19 at 9:19 a.m., an employee at a dental office on N. Centre Avenue reported the theft of cash from a desk drawer sometime between July 13 and July 15.

On July 21 at 12:30 p.m., a clothing store owner on Merrick Road reported an unknown person asked to try on a pair of sneakers and then fled without paying for them.
On July 22 at 12:20 p.m., an employee of P.C. Richard, located at 307 Sunrise Highway, reported that an unknown person stole a television from the store.

Criminal Mischief:
On July 21 at 9:30 p.m., a Lee Avenue resident reported she heard noises in the vicinity of the 9/11 Memorial at the Village Green and then observed 10 to 12 youths leave the area. Inspection of site revealed approximately 25 brick pavers were removed from the walkway and left on the ground nearby.
