Crime Watch: Shots Fired in OMC; Sunrise T-Mobile Burglarized for $3K

Recent police activity as reported by the RVC PD.

The following information was supplied by the Rockville Centre Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Arrest:

On March 19 at 2:36 p.m., Ronniesha Highsmith, 22, of Rockville Centre, was arrested for third-degree assault following an investigation by police personnel on Old Mill Court in Rockville Centre.

Burglary:

On March 19 at 12:30 p.m., complainant store owner from T-Mobile, located at 323 Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre, reported that an unknown person entered the rear of the store on March 18 at approximately 7:25 p.m. and stole $1,035 from a locked safe located in a locked room and four Samsung cell phones valued at $2,116 from the same locked room without authorization.

Reckless Endangerment:

On March 20 at approximately 1:15 a.m., a complainant from Old Mill Court, Rockville Centre reported that unknown person(s) fired gunshots through a bedroom window causing damage to windows and apartment interior.

Assault:

On March 18 at 2:40 a.m., a complainant from St. Marks Avenue in Rockville Centre reported that he was assaulted by unknown persons while in Municipal Parking Field No. 9 at approximately 1:50 a.m. resulting in facial lacerations and contusions.
