- On Sept. 19 at 9:40 a.m., Lynbrook resident Robert Foders, 46, was arrested on Blossom Heath Avenue and charged with obstructing governmental administration and harassment.
- On Sept. 19 at 10:24 p.m., Lynbrook resident Kimberly Murphy, 26, was arrested on Hempstead Avenue and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
- On Sept. 21 at 4:30 p.m., Christopher Nostramo, 24, of Malverne, was arrested and charged with giving a false statement in regards to a reported a robbery on Ocean Avenue on Sept. 21.
- On Sept. 21 at 8:40 p.m., Diana Burns, 32, of Baldwin, was arrested on Broadway on an open warrant for criminal possession of a hypodermic needle, possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Case Reports
- Robbery: On Sept. 21 at 10:30 a.m. on Ocean Avenue, Christopher Nostramo, 24, of Malverne, reported that he was robbed by two male blacks. Proceeds were reported as a cell phone, a wallet, $30 and a bottle of Oxycodone. The Lynbrook detectives conducted an investigation and as a result of their investigation the reporting person was arrested and charged with falsely reporting an incident.
- Larceny: Between 9 a.m. on Sept. 13 and 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 20, a 2008 Honda motorcycle valued at $9,000 was taken from a garage on Rolling Street.

According to Nassau County detectives, around 12:50 p.m., after having his account blocked at the Citibank on Central Avenue, the defendant, Michael Wright, 22, was asked by bank personnel to respond to the bank to discuss his account.
Wright was the subject of prior fraudulent activities and upon his arrival the police were notified, police said.
According to police, two Fourth Precinct officers responded to the scene and when Wright observed them, he fled the bank. A foot chase ensued and during the process of chasing, apprehending and securing Wright, both officers sustained injuries necessitating treatment at a local hospital. Both officers were treated and released.
Two Inwood men were arrested on Monday after one of them allegedly punched a victim in the eye and slashed him with a landscaping tool, police said.
On Monday around 8 p.m. in Inwood, the 36-year-old male victim came to the Clinton Avenue home of defendant Jose Gomez, 44, to discuss a landscaping job both were working on, according to police. An argument broke out, and Gomez allegedly punched the victim in the eye. Gomez then apparently took out a landscaping tool from his belt pouch and slashed the 36-year-old at his stomach and threw him to the ground, police said.
During the altercation, another man, Nathan Thomas, 28, who also lives on Clinton Avenue, allegedly came over and held the victim down while Gomez reached into his pants pocket and took $1,100 in cash, according to police. The victim was able to free himself, return home and call police.
