Driver Killed In 1-Car Crash On LIE Service Road: Police
The 72-year-old victim was not yet identified by police.
NORTH HILLS, NY — A driver was killed on in a crash Tuesday morning on the Long Island Expressway service road, police said.
The one-car accident involving a 2022 Volkswagen happened at 8 a.m. near Shelter Rock Road and the South Service Road.
Officers extracted the 72-year-old male driver from the car, police said. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital, authorities said.
