Gas Upgrades Coming For Parts Of Rockville Centre

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — National Grid will begin making infrastructure upgrades to the gas lines in Rockville Centre in the coming weeks, the village said.

Work will include the main replacement and gas services.

Repairs will be made on Liberty Avenue, Powell Avenue, Southard Avenue, Sherman Avenue, Jackson Avenue, Cedar Avenue and Raymond Street (from Powell Avenue to North Long Beach Road).

While it's not a village project, officials "remain committed to communicating with residents and will do our best to provide information as it is received," as stated on the website.
