Guatamalan Chicken Restaurant Holds Grand Opening For Merrick Location
The first 100 people on line Wednesday morning will be entered in a contest to win a year's worth of meals.
MERRICK, NY — A popular restaurant is making a splash with its Merrick grand opening. Pollo Campero is debuting its newest Long Island location on Wednesday.
The eatery will hold a Golden Ticket Giveaway as the first 100 guests in line at 10 a.m. will have a chance to free two meals per month for a year.
Pollo Campero has a chicken recipe that is considered "a national treasure of Guatemala," the restaurant said.

The restaurant has fried and grilled chicken on the menu, along with chicken sandwiches, salads and empanadas.
Pollo Campero is located at 1808 Sunrise Hwy.
