Hess, Gulf Have Cheapest Gas in RVC

Every resident is searching for a way to cut costs, and travel expenses is one area where it can be done. Finding the lowest local gas prices can help save a few bucks, so here's a guide to find those inexpensive pumps around the village.

According to Motortrend.com, the Hess station at 580 Sunrise Highway sells the lowest regular and plus gases, priced at $2.85 and $2.99, respectively. The lowest premium gas is sold at the Gulf station at 2 Sunrise Highway, which is priced at $2.49 per gallon. The Mobil at 345 Sunrise Highway sells the lowest priced diesel fuel at $2.91 a gallon. As of Wednesday, those were the lowest gas prices in the village.

In contrast, the highest priced regular gas can be found at the Citgo station at 128 N. Village Avenue, which sells it at $3.19 a gallon, according to motortrend.com. For premium gas, the Getty at 171 Sunrise Highway has the highest price at $3.09 a gallon, while the Shell station at 516 Merrick Road sells the highest priced diesel fuel at $3.44 a gallon.
