MELVILLE, NY — A familiar face on TV has a new outlet for viewers to interact, but Elisa DiStefano is excited about the "great opportunity to be part of something new," DiStefano told Patch.

The longtime fixture at News 12 is now hosting and reporting at NewsdayTV, led by her former boss Patrick Dolan.
