Jan 26: Lego Club, Village Board Recap and Creative Writing Workshop

It's Wednesday, which we all know is the "hump" day of the week. Get through today, and the weekend is around the corner! With that in mind, here are five things you need to know for today.

1. Inspire creativity in your children. Need some ideas? Bring them to the Rockville Centre Public Library between 4-5 p.m. for the, and learn to build and make new friends. The club is for kids in grades 1 and up.

2. The library is also hosting a creative writing workshop for all ages, hosted by Barbara Novack, a writer-in-residence at . She will lead writers as they explore technique and genre from 7-8:30 p.m.

3. Did you miss the village board meeting last night? No worries. A recap of everything that happened, including discussion of five new proposed local laws, gets posted at 4 p.m.
