Jet Ski Overturns, Sending 3 People Into Long Island Sound: Police

BAYVILLE, NY — A jet ski water rescue took place on Sunday afternoon in Bayville.

Three people went in the water off the Long Island Sound when a jet ski overturned, police said.

A Nassau County Police Marine Unit along with the Town of Oyster Bay Constables responded and located the three victims. Both crews were able to assist them and their jet ski back to the boat it was launched from. No injuries were reported, police said.
